Many feared, Killed of the incident that happened at PLASU, Bukkos, Plateau state university, Jos

Today being the 19th of April 2024 a tragic incident happened at Plateau state university which results to civil unrest and thereby even postponing their examination till further. The genesis of this incident happened yesterday that's 18th of April where a lot of students we're talking about seeing military vehicles around the school premise but they didn't know the actual aim of their coming. Same day that's in the evening the rumour or crisis and crisis started that lead to the instant killing of two students which one is said to be a 200Level student of computer science named Dading James Jordan. 

A lot of people made a statement about this incident thereby some among few said 

"Violence at the Doorstep: Addressing the Crisis of Insecurity at Plateau State University. 

The ongoing violence and insecurity that the students at Plateau State University are facing is deeply troubling and must be addressed by the government immediately. No student should have to live in fear of violence, kidnapping, or rape while pursuing their education. I urge the government to take decisive action to ensure the safety and security of the students and staff at the university.

The loss of any life, especially that of a student, is a devastating tragedy. The continued violence and insecurity at Plateau State University is a pressing issue that demands urgent attention and action from the government. The situation is dire when students are living in fear of being kidnapped, raped, or killed every semester. Not only does this put their lives and wellbeing at risk, but it also hinders their ability to learn and reach their full potential.

It is not enough to simply condemn these heinous acts; concrete steps must be taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the first place. The university and its surrounding community deserve to feel safe and secure. It is high time that the government takes swift and decisive measures to ensure the safety of the students, staff, and residents in the area. Every student deserves the opportunity to pursue their education without fear for their lives or wellbeing".

"The Plateau state government, led by Caleb Mutfwang, must prioritize the security of lives and property in Bokkos and Mangu. The Nigerian military's approach has been ineffective, and it is time for the government to explore alternative solutions to this crisis.". 

And towards the evening time students we're stranded looking for vehicle to evacuate themselves to a safer place but unfortunately there's no any means of transportation which makes it very hard for the students to leave the premises. And that same hour some cars were sent to evacuate the students to a safer zone reaching to 3pm in the evening after a lot of good and kindhearted men contributed to aid the students that are stranded, the military blocked the road that nobody is passing through. It was a hell for students today at Plateau state university and their families entirely. 

Some students narrate to how the incident happened and it was quiet not pleasing at all, it was a tragedy and not something to just imagine and pass through.
